Passionate Advocate

JACK TITUS proudly volunteered at a special Health and Wellness Community Outreach event hosted by The Center in Las Vegas, where organizations came together to provide education, resources, and support to LGBTQ+ individuals and allies. As a dedicated advocate, JACK played a key role in distributing health materials, sharing educational resources, and creating a welcoming space for all attendees.

From organizing supplies and engaging with guests to offering information on harm reduction, substance misuse recovery, and HIV care, JACK brought both energy and empathy to the table. The event included booths, food drives, and interactive sessions aimed at strengthening community bonds and ensuring that every voice feels seen and heard.

Whether helping with food distribution, assisting in set-up, or simply making people smile, JACK continues to use his time and heart to serve the LGBTQ+ community something he considers not just a duty, but a true calling.

JACK TITUS proudly uses his academic background and training to serve the community through HIV testing and sexual health education at The LGBTQ+ Center of Southern Nevada. As part of his volunteer service, he provides free, confidential HIV testing while also promoting self-awareness, safe sex practices, and overall health empowerment.

Through this role, JACK helps individuals better understand their health, their bodies, and their rights. He is passionate about breaking stigmas around HIV and sexuality, especially within the LGBTQ+ community, and works to ensure that everyone has access to compassionate care and accurate information.

With a strong belief that knowledge is power, JACK is committed to fostering a judgment-free environment where people feel safe, respected, and seen.

JACK TITUS proudly volunteered at a free COVID-19 Vaccination Event held at The Center in Las Vegas, in partnership with Make the Road Nevada and Roseman University of Health Sciences. The event provided critical access to vaccines for the local community, aiming to protect lives and promote public health during the height of the pandemic.

As a dedicated volunteer, JACK supported frontline efforts by offering guidance, comfort, and care to attendees during the vaccination process. His presence underscored his continued commitment to uplifting and protecting vulnerable communities, especially through times of crisis.

JACK’s involvement in this initiative reflects his passion for service, health equity, and his strong connection to The Center, where he continues to support the LGBTQ+ community with both his time and heart.

JACK TITUS proudly served as a guest judge and community ambassador for the Battle of the Bands hosted by the Westchester Family YMCA in Los Angeles. This dynamic event brought together young musicians, families, and supporters for an unforgettable day of music, mentorship, and community celebration.

As a Thai-American storyteller, artist, and advocate, JACK was invited to lend his voice and expertise to the judging panel, helping to spotlight the talent and creativity of emerging youth bands. Beyond the stage, JACK engaged with kids and families during workshops and mentoring sessions—sharing his journey and encouraging young people to find power in their passion and pride in their individuality.

JACK’s involvement in this event is part of his ongoing work with the YMCA across the U.S. and internationally. His mission is to create inclusive spaces where youth feel seen, supported, and empowered through the arts.

During Thai New Year 2025, I joined forces with Las Vegas Defense Group to provide free legal consultations at temple events across Las Vegas. My goal was simple but deeply personal  to support Thai families facing legal challenges, especially those dealing with immigration issues, who often feel lost or unheard in the system.

As someone who understands the complexities of living between cultures, I believe no one should have to navigate the legal system alone   especially not our Thai brothers and sisters trying to build a better life here.

This effort is part of my lifelong mission to uplift and protect the Thai community through real action, not just words. When our people feel seen, supported, and safe 

 that’s when we all win.

The Teens in Motion program provided an invaluable opportunity to work closely with youth living with disabilities, using art, music, and interactive workshops as tools for empowerment and connection. Activities like the name quilt project and rhythm-based music sessions were designed not only to inspire creativity, but to build self-confidence, communication skills, and a sense of inclusion.

This initiative reinforced my commitment to advocating for accessible, inclusive spaces where every child, regardless of ability, is encouraged to express themselves freely and feel seen, valued, and supported.

Programs like this demonstrate the transformative impact of community-based initiatives and the importance of investing in environments that prioritize empathy, equity, and opportunity for all.

As part of the ABLE Thailand initiative, I had the honor of participating in a creative outreach program at Baan Nontapum, a government home for children with physical disabilities. In collaboration with Miss Universe Thailand 2019, the project focused on using art and music to foster inclusion, joy, and confidence among youth with disabilities.

Throughout the day, we painted, played instruments, and created meaningful moments of connection. These activities weren’t just artistic they served as a bridge for communication, empowerment, and emotional expression for the children involved.

This experience reinforced the importance of creating inclusive spaces where every child, regardless of ability, is valued, supported, and given the freedom to express themselves. It remains one of the most impactful and heartfelt projects in my advocacy journey.

At YMCA Barranquilla in Colombia, I had the privilege of actively participating in a series of impactful community initiatives that addressed some of the city’s most urgent social challenges ranging from environmental responsibility to mental health awareness and food insecurity.

As part of a collaborative volunteer team, I engaged in beach clean-up campaigns aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and civic pride. I also joined in discussions centered on mental health advocacy, where we addressed stigma and the importance of emotional well-being in vulnerable communities.

The experience culminated in a downtown outreach effort, where we prepared and distributed meals to individuals experiencing homelessness. It was a powerful reminder that dignity and compassion are essential elements of community care.

As part of a hands-on outreach initiative in Barranquilla, Colombia, I joined volunteers from YMCA Barranquilla to distribute meals to individuals experiencing homelessness in the city’s downtown area. This effort was more than just a food distribution it was a moment of shared humanity, compassion, and community.

Working alongside local volunteers, we prepared and delivered nourishing meals while engaging with those often overlooked by society. The experience highlighted not only the urgent need for basic resources, but also the power of kindness and dignity in restoring hope.

This project deepened my understanding of service as a human connection and reminded me that even the smallest acts of care can make a lasting impact when done with heart and purpose.
